The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test or SNAP is a national-level entrance test for admission to management programme of SIU affiliated colleges. SNAP is a two hour long computer-based examination conducted every year by the Symbiosis International University (SIU). 

The admission team of SCMHRD, every year, conducts an interactive session ‘SNAP IT’ in 15 cities and 17 locations of India for the MBA aspirants to address the different issues which the aspirants may face during preparation of the exam. The main focus of discussion is laid on the key aspects of the interview and group discussions to be conducted as part of selection procedure where the members of SCMHRD share their own personal experience. In this session, the aspirants are also provided a broad perspective to other exams as well. 

 

ELIGIBILTY:

As per the eligibility norms of SNAP as cited by SIU, an aspirant must fulfill following parameters:

  •      The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute with at least 50% marks ( 45% for reserved category) in aggregate or equivalent CGPA.
  •       The duration of graduation programme should be of minimum 3 years.
  •     The candidates who are in the final year of graduation can also apply in the same year, provided they complete their graduation and all other requirements in stipulated time.
  •       There is no age-limit to apply for CMAT.
  •       Candidates must be of Indian origin. However, foreign nationals/ PIO/ OCI/ NRI are also eligible to apply. 
  •       Candidates possessing foreign degrees must be verified from AIU 

 

EXAM PATTERN:

The pattern for SNAP 2018 exam would be as follows:

  1.         It will be computer-based test.
  2.         The duration of the test would be of 120 minutes.
  3.         The total number of questions is 150, divided into 4 sections.
  4.         All the questions are multiple choice questions with each question having 4 alternatives.

  •       The marking Scheme is as follows:
  1.         Correct answer: +1 marks
  2.         Incorrect answer: -1 marks 

 

APPLICATION AND REGISTERATION PROCESS:

The candidates need to apply for the SNAP 2019 from the official website of SNAP. Before applying the candidates must ensure the availability all the requisite documents.

 

STEPS FOR SUCCESSFUL REGISTRATION:

The candidates can register for SNAP 2019 examination from the official website of SNAP 2019, https://www.snaptest.org/  after the announcement of date by SIU.

The registration can be completed following a simple three-step process:

  1.         Visit the official website
  2.         Click ‘apply’ and fill the SNAP form
  3.         Ulpoad all necessary documents.
  4.         Once completed, the candidates will receive SNAP ID.
  5.         Make online payment and submit.

 

TEST FEE:

The application fee is Rs 1500 for all the applicants irrespective of their category.

 

TEST CENTRE:

The applicants need to fill one city from the options as their preferred exam centre in the application form. However, the final location is allotted by SNAP Exam Secretariat as per the availability of slots.

 

MODE OF PAYMENT:

The payment can be made through Cash, Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking or Demand Draft.

 

ADMIT CARD:

The candidates can download their admit cards from the official website of SNAP 2018. The admit card is available only to the candidates who have successfully registered.

Candidates can download the admit cards by following these steps:

  •       Go to the official website
  •       Click on the ‘Admit card’ tab on the homepage
  •       Login with the user credentials
  •       Download and take a printout of the same
