The admission process for deemed university into MBBS in 2022 is as follows.

  • To pursue MBBS in 2022 from deemed universities, one should qualify NEET UG 2022 entrance exam.
  • The seats in MBBS courses at deemed universities are filled based on counseling conducted by the Directorate General of Health Sciences (DGHS) on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
  • Aspirants must have to qualify for the NEET-UG exam 2022 for being eligible for the deemed counseling process conducted by MCC.
  • Total two rounds are completed in the NEET counseling process for deemed universities followed by a mop-up round if seats remain vacant.

Answer. Most of the private colleges in the country are required to have a percentage of their seats reserved for the government quota. The MBBS course fee for such seats is usually subsidized. However, certain private institutions do not have the provision the government quota seats.
