NITIE offers three full-time, completely residential programmes, namely Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Engineering (PGDIE), Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Management (PGDIM) and Post Graduate Diploma in Sustainability Management (PGDSM). NOTE: Candidates in the final year of graduation can also apply for any of the three courses, provided they qualify for the final examination by the time of joining the institute and submit the mark sheet and provisional certificate, latest by September 2021.

NITIE Application Process 2021

NITIE application process 2021 is common to PGDIE, PGDIM, PGDISEM and Fellow programmes. Candidates can also apply for more than one course throughonlinemode only and register themselves on the official admission portal.

The application fee for each programme is Rs 1,000 (Rs 500 in case of SC/ ST/ PwD candidates) for applicants from India and SAARC countries. For international applicants, the application fee is 50 USD 50 along with the bank charges (as applicable). This fee can be paid through a payment gateway. The steps to apply are as follows:

Step 1: Visit the official website of NITIE (www.nitie.ac.in). On its homepage, click on ‘Programs’ A drop-down menu opens up.

Step 2: Click on the desired programme and further click on ‘Application Process’ against the pop-up that appears against the selected course.

Step 3: Read the given instructions carefully and click on ‘Admission Portal’. The application form opens up.

  • GATE-qualified candidates are entitled to Teaching Assistantship (at present Rs.12400 per month) and contingency expenditure as per rules.
  • SC/ST candidates are granted Central Sector Scholarship as per the scheme of Govt. of India subject to the satisfactory fulfilment of terms and conditions mentioned therein.
  • 30% waiver of tuition fee: Any student entering the postgraduate programme whose total family income does not exceed Rs 2.50 lakh in the last financial year shall be eligible for this scholarship
