Guruji Student Credit Card (GSCC) Scheme

The primary aim of the State Government is to ensure equitable access to higher education opportunities in leading national institutions for every student, irrespective of their financial circumstances. To achieve this goal, the government is providing collateral-free education loans of up to Rs 15 lakh, guaranteeing full coverage for eligible candidates. This initiative is designed to remove any financial obstacles that may deter students from furthering their education.

Under this scheme, the State Government is extending financial assistance to students who have completed their Class 10th education in recognized schools within Jharkhand. The support package includes loans with minimal interest rates, backed by appropriate assurances to the lending institutions. The objective is to facilitate the pursuit of diploma courses for these students. Moreover, students who have successfully completed their Class 10th and Class 12th education from recognized schools in the state are also eligible for this assistance. The aim is to aid them in enrolling in undergraduate and advanced-level programs.
