Several well-equipped, air-conditioned computer laboratories are available to students in batches. They are equipped with the latest hardware and software. There are approximately two computers for every student. The hostels are connected round-the-clock to the intranet (1Gbps Backbone), which connects all the buildings in one network. Computer facilities are available to researchers 24 hours a day. Each student administers their own computer system. In research and development projects, research and development centers provide specialized, high-end equipment.

The library has an extensive collection of Reference Books, Text Books, Technical Reports, Standards, Literature Books, and CD-ROMS.

Additionally, a digital library is maintained. There are various books, tutorials and software available online. Any permitted software can be downloaded from this resource.

On campus, IIITH has three separate hostels for boys and two for girls. A few faculty and staff members, along with their families, live on campus, including both the hostel wardens and the hostel in charge. All academic and administrative buildings, as well as the hostels, are effectively secured by 24-hour security personnel.

The institute's diverse activities and skill sets give everyone sufficient incentive to excel. Our facilities include cricket, volleyball, soccer, basket ball, table tennis, and other sports like badminton, hockey, and swimming. We also have agreement with nearby stadiums for others.

There are 3 vegetarian (North, South, and Yuktahar) and 1 non-vegetarian mess on campus (Kadamb). Messes are available for students to choose from. Almost every week, Kazamb offers non-vegetarian food. Healthy and nutritious meals are prepared in spacious and modern kitchens. A canteen also serves snacks and drinks throughout the day and until late evening.
