  • Founded in 2011, the International Management Institute (IMI) Bhubaneswar has been ranked 63rd in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2020 of the Department of Human Resource Development (DHRD). The Institute of Management Bhubaneswar  (IMI Bhubaneswar) offers various programs accredited by AICTE, such as Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Part-Time), and Ph.D. in Management (Ph.D.).

  • To be eligible for admission to the PGDM program, the participants must possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent in any discipline, from a recognized University for admission post-graduate programs.
  • Candidates with valid CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT scores can also apply. Candidates will be required to furnish their valid GMAT scores while applying and provide an attested copy of the GMAT score sheet to the Admission Office for verification.
  • The shortlisting criteria of the candidates are based on the following parameters:
  1. Candidates who have appeared for CAT/XAT/CMAT examination or have a valid GMAT score.
  2. Educational background of the candidate which includes marks of class 10th and 12th, Graduation, and work experience.
  3. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the further selection process.

E-Cell

The Entrepreneurship-Cell (E-Cell) at IMI Bhubaneshwar is very active. Entrepreneurship will be promoted in Odisha by this initiative. The students and youth can use the platform to become future entrepreneurs. In addition to boot camp and business plan days, E-Cell has many other activities to offer. A number of entrepreneurship awareness camps and development programmes are also conducted by the organization in collaboration with EDII and IED (under MSME in Odisha). The E-Cell has organized a number of workshops and events in collaboration with organizations like NEN, Wadhwani Foundation, the TiE Bhubaneswar Chapter, ICC Kolkata, etc.

Ans- Does IMI Delhi provide hostels for all of its PGDM students or just the ones who are in their second year of their PGDM?
It is a full-time residential program. Hostels are available for both first-year students and second-year students. The rooms are air-conditioned and are set up in a twin-sharing arrangement. For first-year students, the dormitories are located off-campus in Adhchini, which is nearby and has a bus service that runs 4-5 times per day to transport them to and from campus. The hostels for second years are on campus and have complete air conditioning.
