Under sections 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act,1956, the UGC as well as other statutory authorities of the State and the Country have recognised Uttaranchal University. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council has awarded the University with the esteemed “A+ Grade” (NAAC).In the first cycle of accreditation, Uttaranchal University received the NAAC A+ Grade, making it the first university in the State of Uttarakhand to do so.

This places the university solidly among the top 5% of HEIs in the country. • Uttarakhand State Domicile Scholarship

• Sushila Devi Scholarship for Girls 

The net tuition fees at Uttaranchal University include 5% scholarships for female students. The scholarships from Uttaranchal University are available for the duration of the course.

• Hills State Domicile Scholarship
