Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow, previously covered by UPSEE, is required to apply for CMAT - 2022 as the assessment sheet of CMAT - 2022 for admission to MBA courses at affiliated AKTU Universities/Institutes in the academic year 2022/23 is used.
Candidates must apply separately to desired CMAT-2022 participating institutions with a 2022 CMAT score. Thereafter, each participating institution publishes its respective CMAT cutoff scores that a candidate must meet to apply for admission to that institution to qualify.
Once qualified, the candidate must go through the relevant institution's selection process, which may include Group Discussion (GD) and a Personal Interview (PI). The final choice of the candidate is based on the candidate's performance in GD & PI.

The CMAT exam is administered in an online mode (computer-based test) and candidates taking the exam must solve 100 questions in 3 hours. The CMAT sample exam has been revised by the NTA.
Exam Mode: CMAT 2023 is administered in online CBT mode at testing centers in more than 124 major cities in India.
The CMAT 2023 syllabus covers quantitative techniques and data interpretation, reasoning, language comprehension, and general awareness.

puzzles, syllogism, seating arrangements, and coding. Decoding, blood relationship, logical sequence, data structure, sequence of numbers and letters, binary logic, etc.
Language comprehension: reading comprehension, passages, sentence correction, mixed paragraphs, etc.
General Awareness: Current Affairs of India and International Countries etc.

CMAT eligibility criteria for admission to the PGDM/MBA, PGCM, and Executive PGDM programs are based on requirements defined by each university/institution.
The NTA does not conduct a centralized CMAT 2023 assessment. Each CMAT-participating university conducts its assessment and establishes eligibility criteria as needed. In addition to the above reservation criteria, candidates must also observe the points below:

In the case of schools owned or run by the federal states, the reservation policy of the respective state government applies.
CMAT 2023 Eligibility: Booking Other Back Classes Other Back Classes (OBC-NCL) are available according to the Central List of Other Back Classes from the National Commission for Back Classes (NCBC), Government of India website: CBC.nic.in.
Therefore, candidates falling on this list may mention OBC in the category column. State-listed OBC candidates who are not on the OBC-NCL (Central List) must select the General category.
As per Section 2(t) of the PWD Act, “persons with disabilities (PwD)” means any person with a long-term mental, intellectual, physical, or sensory disability that prevents their full and effective participation in society on an equal basis of conditions with others.
Under Section 2® of the RPwD Act 2016, “individuals with reference disabilities” means an individual with at least forty percent (40%) of a specified disability where a specified disability has not been measurably defined and includes an individual with a disability when the specific disability has been defined in measurable terms, as confirmed by the certification authority.
The second part of CMAT eligibility is after the declaration of CMAT 2023 result for MBA Admission. which offer AICTE-approved MBA/PGDM programs for which you have applied separately for admission.
The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2023 is the MBA entrance test for admission to the MBA 2023 at 1000 management institutes offering AICTE-approved management programs.
Although CMAT 2023 offers admission to AICTE-accredited PGDM programs and university MBA programs, the CMAT exam is now administered by NTA instead of AICTE.
Applicant must be a citizen of India. Graduates with 50% grades or CGPA equivalent in any discipline may apply for the CMAT 2023 exam.
If the candidate falls within the SC/ST/PwD category, the admission criteria are relaxed to 45% of Seniors of postgraduate courses (10+2+3) whose result is declared before the start of admissions for the academic year 2023-24 may also apply for the Apply for CMAT Online Exam.
The candidate's bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification must include at least three years of post-upper secondary education (10+2) or equivalent education.
If the candidate earns grades/CGPA instead of grades, the equivalence would be based on equivalence attested by the institution/university where the bachelor's degree was obtained.
If the institution/university does not have a system for converting the CGPA into equivalent grades, the equivalence would be determined by the institute by dividing the CGPA obtained by the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the result by 100 to confirm the candidate's suitability.
A candidate taking the undergraduate equivalent/final exam and those who have completed the study requirements and are awaiting results can also apply. the candidate must provide attestation from Policy to the department head/registrar/director of the institution/university at the time of applying for admission to the MBA/PGDM program stating that the candidate is currently in his senior year or is awaiting the final results and has reached at least 50% of grades or equivalent (45% if the candidate is SC/ST/PwD) based on the latest qualifications/grades available.
Such a candidate, if selected, is only admitted if he/she produces a certificate from the Director/Head of Department/Registrar/Head of Institute/University stating that he/she by the deadline notified by the Institute has met all the requirements (however, the result is to be expected) at the time the certificate is issued to obtain bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification.
For a senior student who is deemed provisionally eligible by the MBA/PGDM institute and is admitted, it is mandatory to submit the final undergraduate annual examination grade sheet and grade certificate before the deadline prescribed by the university/institute.
CMAT eligibility does not impose an age limit for taking the CMAT 2023 exam.
Degree must be UGC-recognized, AICTE-approved, and recognized by the Government of India of the following CMAT 2023 Admission Criteria Completed bachelor's degree with required percentage of grades, or Completed professional degree (CA/CS/ICWA) with percentage required or Must be in the final year of bachelor's degree with percentage required.
The percentage of qualifications acquired by the candidate would be calculated based on the practice followed by the university/institution.
In the case of grades/CGPA, the conversion to grade percentage is based on the procedure certified by the relevant university/institution according to the eligibility criteria for the CMAT
exam.
Equivalence would be determined by dividing the candidate's CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA and the Score is multiplied by 100 based on CMAT 2023 eligibility
Merely meeting the minimum CMAT 2023 requirements does not guarantee consideration for preselection by Class B schools.
