The second week of February through the second week of March will mark the start of the CMAT registration procedure for 2023. The 2023 CMAT registration and application process will be conducted online. To finish the process, candidates must register on the CMAT-NTA website, fill out the CMAT 2023 application form, and pay the applicable fees. The CMAT application fee is INR 1,000 for women and other reserved groups, and INR 2,000 for men in the general category.

CMAT Eligibility Criteria
- Any candidate who has a bachelor's or equivalent degree in any subject from a recognized university can apply for CMAT.
- Final-year bachelor’s degree students are also eligible to apply for the CMAT exam.
- There are no criteria for a minimum score in graduation for CMAT.
Important Information About the CMAT Application Process
- Fill out the CMAT application form 2023 completely and accurately. Do not omit any required fields.
- Choose your test cities carefully for the CMAT 2023.
- Only after payments have been paid will an application confirmation page be prepared.
- Before submitting, make sure all of the information is correct. The form cannot be changed once it is submitted.
- Upon successful completion of your fee payment, you will receive a confirmation email and SMS.
- Contact the examination office right away if you don't get the confirmation.
- The preferred web browsers for CMAT registration 2023 are Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Internet Explorer (versions 50 to 61). (Version 50 to 69).

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1. What is the application fee for the CMAT exam?
Ans. CMAT application fee is INR 2,000 for male candidates from the General category. For women candidates, the fee is INR 1,000. For SC/ST male candidates, the fees are INR 1,000 and for SC/ST women and transgender candidates, it is INR 1,000.
Q2. I belong to the SC category. Is there any mark relaxation in CMAT for SC students?
Ans. There are no minimum marks criteria for CMAT. Any candidate who has completed graduation can apply. Final year candidates are also eligible to apply for CMAT if they scored passing marks in their first and second year of the bachelor's degree program.
Q3. Will my fees be refunded if I do not appear in the CMAT exam?
Ans. No, the CMAT registration fees are non-refundable. The fee will not be refunded under any circumstance. Thus, candidates must check eligibility criteria and terms and conditions before applying.
Q4. Can I edit the CMAT application form after submission?
Ans. Yes, candidates can edit their forms through the form correction process. The CMAT form correction window will be opened for three days after the conclusion of the application form submission process. During the form correction period, candidates will be able to edit photos, signatures, test city, and graduation score fields.
Q5. Which documents are to be submitted along with CMAT registration form?
Ans. Candidates have to upload a passport-sized photo and scanned signature with the CMAT registration form. Candidates belonging to the Reserved category are required to upload a caste certificate.
Q6. I have completed my bachelor’s degree, but I do not have 50 percent marks. Am I eligible to take the CMAT exam in 2023?
Ans. Yes, you are eligible to appear for CMAT as there are no minimum marks criteria viz. graduation degree for the exam. Only passing marks are required to appear for the CMAT exam.
Q7. Is there any age restriction to taking the CMAT exam?
Ans. No. There is no age bar for appearing in the CMAT exam. Any person at any phase of their career can appear for CMAT However, the candidate should have completed graduation.
Q8. I made a mistake in my CMAT application form. What should I do now?
Ans. Once you have submitted the CMAT application form, you cannot edit it. Thus, you will have to fill out the CMAT form again by creating a new login ID and paying the fee again. However, if the mistake is in the photo, signature, or test center fields, you can correct it at the time the form correction window opens 2-3 days after the conclusion of the registration process.
Q9. How can I recover my CMAT password?
Ans. In case you forget your password, the same can be recovered by clicking on the ‘forgot password’ option available on the login web page. Click on ‘forget password’ and the link to reset your password will be sent to your registered email ID.
Q10. Can I fill out the CMAT application form offline?
Ans. No. The CMAT exam application form can be filled out online only. The form is made available every year on the CMAT-NTA website only which can be filled from any laptop or desktop.
Q11.What are the fees for CMAT form correction?
Ans. Candidates are not charged for making corrections in the CMAT application form during the form correction period. However, candidates must keep in mind that only certain fields like photo, signature, and test city will be open for correction during that period.
Q12. Is CMAT good for MBA?
Ans. National MBA Exam Accepted by Top B-Schools: CMAT is a higher-level national MBA entrance test as compared to MAT and ATMA. CMAT offers admission opportunities in higher-level MBA/PGDM colleges. There are many MBA colleges in India that do not accept MAT and ATMA scores but accept CMAT scores.
Q13. Is the CMAT exam easy?
Ans. As compared to other management entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, and IIFT, CMAT was quite easy. Most candidates attempted around 75- 90% of questions within a time duration of 120 -150 minutes.
Q14. Is CMAT registration 2022 Open?
Ans. NTA has announced CMAT 2022 Exam Date to be April 9, 2022. The exam will be held in a single shift as Computer Based Test. CMAT 2022 registration fee was INR 2000 for General category candidates and INR 1000 for reserved category candidates.
Q15. Is CMAT more difficult than CAT?
Ans. CMAT is of low difficulty level exam as compared to CAT exam. CMAT has 25% negative marking while CAT has 33% negative marking for wrong answers. No candidate in CMAT is disqualified and is eligible for shortlisting, however, IIMs shortlist the candidates based on the minimum qualifying sectional score.
