Myra Business School Admission Process 2022

Step 1 – Online Application

The application for admission to our full-time programs must be made online. Visit Apply Now to complete your online application.

If the online application is successful, applicants will be prompted to submit their supporting documents. Make sure that all documents requested are uploaded for the admissions office to review.

Step 2 – Academic Profile Evaluation

Academic records and standings are evaluated by the Office of Admissions to ensure that the applicant qualifies for the program of choice. Our admissions decisions are based on academic profile, which carries a 25% weighting.

Step 3 – Entrance Test

Applicants are also evaluated based on their entrance test scores in any of the accepted qualifying exams (CAT, XAT, GMAT, GRE, NMAT, CMAT, MAT, ATMA).

If a candidate does not meet the qualifying scores in an entrance exam or does not have an entrance score, they are invited to take the MYRA Entrance Test (MET).

It consists of 50 questions, scored out of 50 points, and can be taken online from any location at any time. There are 20 quant questions, 20 verbal questions, and 10 logical reasoning questions on the test, and there is no negative marking. Each correct question awards a student 1 point.

The entrance test score is a mandatory requirement to apply for our full-time programs and carries a 25% weightage in the admission decisions.

Step 4 – Case Analysis

Upon qualifying with a profile and test scores, applicants are offered a one-page case study on a ‘business model’. The applicants will present their understanding and analysis as part of a presentation, followed by an interview.

Case Analysis is an important assessment that lets the Office of Admissions evaluate a candidate’s thought process, critical thinking, and program alignment; and carries 25% weightage in the admission decision.

Step 5 – Admission Interview

Candidates who qualify based on academic profile, entrance test, and case analysis are invited for an admission interview either online or on-campus. Admission decisions are made at least 25% based on the results of the admission interview.

During admission interviews, we determine a candidate’s fit for the program based on their background, aspirations, and program outcome objectives. There may be 1 or 2 rounds of admission interviews based on the candidate’s profile.

Step 6 – Offer Acceptance

The Office of Admissions will communicate a provisional Admission Offer to applicants who clear all four stages of the admission process and qualify for admission (as deemed fit for the program by the Office of Admissions). A candidate is expected to accept their offer of admission within 72 hours of receiving the offer letter in order to ensure admission to the program of their choice.

Our programs are highly competitive, and our acceptance rate is low by design. In order to avoid disappointments, candidates who are offered admission must confirm their admissions as soon as possible.

If When a candidate is placed on the waitlist, he or she must wait until the end of the admissions cycle before hearing back from the Admissions Office.
