The application correction window for the National Eligibility Entrance Test- (NEET) 2022 will open on, March 29 2022. Medical aspirants who have already submitted their NEET application 2022 and now want to make some changes, or corrections, in the application form will be able to do so till April 7. Aspirants will have to login at the official website -- nbe.edu.in, with their qualifications and make the required changes.
Corrections in the filled-in application form of NEET 2022 can be done by following these steps:
For availing the correction feature, aspirants have to visit the website during the timetable fixed for the correction feature. Correction in any other data will be not allowed as this will not affect the contention and the merit. Further, aspirants must be very careful while making corrections as no second opportunity will be made available for corrections. After correction, aspirants will be able to print correction slip and keep the same for their reference and record. No correspondence thereafter will be entertained by the Board in this regard. Due to correction in Category, if the additional fee will be payable, the same will be remitted through Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking during the given period only. Parents are expected to read & understand the above information and help their ward in doing the needful correctly.
Aspirants those who have upload incorrect Photograph & Signature will be intimated by NTA through an e-mail & SMS. Aspirants will re-upload these documents by log into the application portal in given time frame. Aspirants who will receive the SMS and email from NTA regarding application form correction should re-upload the scanned documents within 3 days. All the aspirants are advised to fill the application form carefully if by mistake some entries are entered wrongly, then students have a chance to rectify them within correction period. The board has provided the one-time correction opportunity in the field of Date of Birth, State Code of Eligibility, Gender, Category, and Disability Status.
Aspirants can get the application form through online mode from the website. NEET 2022 Application Form will be released from December 2021. Aspirants will be able to fill the application till last week of February 2022.There will be no offline mode provided to fill the application. Before application form submission, aspirants should check all the details filled in the application carefully. Only one application should be submitted by a candidate. In case of mistake, no changes will be allowed after the form submission. NTA will provide one-time correction facility only in some particulars. Aspirants must upload the scanned images of passport size photograph, postcard size photograph, candidate’s signature and left hand thumb impression. The images should be uploaded as per the specification mentioned by the authority.
The NTA will release the official answer key of NTA NEET on the official website, after the closing of the correction window. Aspirants will be provided a few days to challenge any answer key. Based on the challenges made by the aspirants, the NEET 2022 result will be announced in the online mode. Earlier, based on the details filled in the NEET 2022 phase 2 form, NTA will issue the NEET 2022 admit card. The admit card comprises the personal details of the candidate, as well as details of the exam like reporting timings, address of the test centre, etc. Aspirants are advised to retain the NEET 2022 admit card until the end of the admission process.
Ans. Candidates could change most of the details filled in the application form using the NEET 2021 correction window. They could not, however, change the registered email ID, mobile number and nationality.
