A contingency grant of INR 5000 per year and a GOI teaching assistantship of INR 8000 per month are awarded to NITIE Scholarship GATE qualifiers. Ans. NITIE Mumbai Admissions to PGDIM and PGDISEM programs are done on the basis of candidates’ marks or percentile secured in the CAT – Common Aptitude Test. Candidates having not cleared CAT will not be eligible for PG admissions. Management entrance exams like XAT, MAT, or other examination scores will not be considered.

All the regular students admitted to the fellowship program will receive INR 31,000 during the first and second years of the program and INR 35,000 during the third and fourth years as per the Ministry of Human Resource Development. Ans. Both courses offer different opportunities and learning. It depends on your interest and competencies which would be better.
is basically the flagship course of NITIE and is very old. Comparatively, PGDIM is a new course. PGDIE is a technical course aiming to strengthen the learning in the Industrial Engineering domain whereas PGDIM is more of a management course aiming to transform first-class engineers into world-class managers. Also, PGDIE has a smaller batch and younger students as compared to PGDIM. The fees of PGDIM are also more than that of PGDIE.
Ans. No, reservations for females are not there in NITIE. However, reservations for other categories are provided at the college such as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ Other Backward Class (Non-Creamy)/ Person with Disability category.
