Latest News Update UPES Dehradun UPESEAT 2022 Exam Dates

The University of Petroleum & Energy Studies has revised the exam dates for UPESAT 2022. The entrance exam for the university's BTech program will now be held from April 1 to 2, 2022. Prior to that, it would have taken place in May. UPESEAT 2022 results will be announced on April 4.  In addition, the University has extended the last date to submit UPESEAT applications. The application form can be filled out online until March 29, 2022. On or before November 29, 2021, students will be able to access application forms on the University's official portal. The SAT and JEE Main can also be used as admission criteria for UPES BTech programs. We will soon be able to offer other exams besides UPESEAT for admission. What is UPESEAT?

UPESEAT is the abbreviation of the University of Petroleum & Energy Studies Engineering Aptitude Test. The University of Petroleum & Energy Studies (UPES) conducts an online examination every year to determine which candidates will be admitted to its various BTech programs. AICTE and UGC have approved it as a self-funded university. Admission to UPES is based on the scores from UPESEAT, the JEE Main scorecard, and the Board merit list. The University fills 80% of its seats through UPESEAT and the remaining 20% are filled based on JEE Main scores and Class 12th scores.
