Programme Details
This programme produces graduates with a broad understanding of the Computer Science and Engineering Discipline giving them a competitive edge through robust curriculum and hands-on learning in niche technologies to develop competence that caters to the requirements of the industry. It primarily deals with the development as well as designing of computer software and hardware processes with a strong focus on courses related to algorithms, computation, programming languages, program design, computer hardware, computer software, databases, operating systems, computer networking, etc. that are needed to build and solve problems using computers.
Industry Immersion
To enable the students to keep pace with changing technological advances, the university has industrial tie-ups with various industries. Studying these courses as a part of the curriculum would provide a WILD CARD entry to industry.
Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam)
Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST.
For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium.
(5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmiri Migrants)

Ans. Yes, you must score minimum of 80 percentile in JEE Mains and 60% in 12th (with English, Physics, Mathematics), then you can get direct admission in B. Tech. at LPU.
3. Can I get a free seat in LPU?
Ans.Candidates with benchmark disability and locomotor disability, LPU offers a full programme fee waiver to the persons with disability under certain programmes. Only 20 candidates would be granted this scholarship on a first come first serve basis.
