BDS Top Recruiting Companies

Some of the top recruiting companies that employ dentists are as follows:-

Frequently Asked Questions

1. How much can a fresher dentist earn in India? Is it true that dentists don’t have a future?

Answer. Its not that a fresher dentist cannot earn in India, dentists can earn very well in any part of the world but it all depends on your skill and confidence, its true that hospitals don’t pay that much to dentists but you can also open up your own practice, and I have seen people earning 60-70k per month just from private practice. For your 2nd part, While its not that dentists don’t have a future, its also true that quality of dental education has deteriorated in India, along with rampant corruption from part of authorities giving permissions just on the basis of money; this has led to many colleges being opened without basic facilities and sufficient patients; graduates passing from colleges like these have a difficult future ahead, since they have the degree, but they don’t have the skill or confidence to treat someone. For them I would say that their future is difficult although not impossible, unless they have a good financial backup and go on to do PG by donations of 50-60 lacs; for rest of us who have the confidence and skill future is not dismal.

2. Which one of these is better with regards to scope, job, and salary in India after BDS-MHA, MPH, MBA in hospital/health management or MSc in clinical research?

Answer. MBA in Health Management, as that has better career opportunities. A good B School will not only teach you the regular subjects, but also some other tricks of the trade, like driving meetings, cross-functional teams, negotiations & interview skills. These are essential to find a good job as well as excel further in the future.
Selecting a good B School is essential. Good one of your choice should give you good mentors, faculty, infra, grooming and placements – but at reasonable pinch on the pocket. Such colleges should fetch good ROI. ASB or Ashoka School of Business (Hyderabad), IISWBM (Kolkata) & Alliance Bangalore are a few colleges like that. ASB Hyderabad is the best, as it charges very reasonably and fetches excellent placements.

3. How much does a BDS doctor earn in India?

Answer. As a BDS there is no limit for u on ur earnings. It totally depends on you. Open your clinic. Treat patients nicely, provide them quality treatment. Act responsibly when something goes wrong, and take proper care of your patients.
Eventually you will get wat you deserve. The road to success is never easy. You can not put a figure on your earnings from the very start, just be positive and things will work out for you.

4. What is the average salary of a BDS working in dental chains like Mydentist or Apollo White in India?

Answer. The salary depends on your expertise and the work you are given. For freshers, till the time they are trained the salary is a bit lesser. Once they are ready for working, they are paid between 6–10k a month. If you are given to handle a branch, they could increase your pay to a 30k a month salary. All this is for mydentist chains. No idea about any other.

5. Which one has a better scope (salary wise) in India, BDS or biotechnology?

Answer. Definitely BDS is better Than biotech. Biotechnology industry is name sake in India. Literally no jobs are there. Even I am A biotechnology graduate and Fortunate enough to have a good job but not everyone are. Go for BDS or MBBS.

Frequently Asked Questions about Bachelor of Dental Science (BDS) Cut-Off

Q. Will the NEET 2022 cutoff be reduced?

Ans. The cut-off of NEET 2022 might be reduced if a sufficient number of candidates fail to secure the minimum qualifying percentile.

Q. If a candidate qualifies for NEET, then is s/he eligible to participate in the counselling process?

Ans. Candidates qualifying for the exam will be eligible to participate in the counseling process. It must be noted that mere qualification does not ensure admission to a medical or dental seat.

Q. Why does the NEET cut-off percentile remains the same while the Cut off Do marks vary every year?

Ans. NEET Cut-off percentile has been fixed at 50th percentile for unreserved category candidates and 40th percentile for reserved category candidates. The percentile depends on the relative score of all the candidates who have appeared in the exam. Therefore, the corresponding marks to the percentile vary each year as the performance of candidates will also be different.

Q. Does scoring marks equal to or more than the NEET cutoff score make the candidate eligible for the counseling of state quota seats?

Ans. The eligibility for state quota seats depends on the state counselling authorities. Candidates seeking admission to state quota seats will be required to at least obtain marks equal to the NEET 2020 cut off but this sole requirement will not make them eligible for the state quota seats. There could be domicile requirements as well.

Q. Will the NEET cutoff 2022 be considered valid in the next academic year as well?

Ans. No, the result of NEET is valid for one year only. Therefore, the cutoff of NEET 2022 will only be considered for that particular year.
