Step by Step Registration Procedure for ICAR 2021

The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the application form for ICAR 2021 on July 25. The applications must be submitted by 20th August. Applications for ICAR   can be downloaded from the official website. This exam is administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Interested candidates will need to sign up on the official website and then fill out the application form to apply for ICAR AIEEA 2021. 

Exams for AIEEA (UG) will be held on September 7, 8 and 13. AICE-JRF/SRF (Ph.D) and AIEEA (PG) exams will be conducted on September 17, as scheduled. Students will be admitted to undergraduate, postgraduate, junior research fellow, and senior research fellow programs through an entrance exam. If an applicant clears the exam and makes it through the merit list, they must attend counselling sessions. The admit cards will be released later on the official website. ICAR AIEEA scores are accepted by colleges for admission to undergraduate (UG) and graduate (PG) courses in Agriculture and Allied Science.  

Candidates who meet the ICAR AIEEA eligibility criteria can fill out the online application form. Registration, filling out the application form, uploading documents, and paying the application fee are the four steps in the application process for ICAR AIEEA 2021 . After you have made your application fee payment and received the confirmation page, your application will be considered successful.

  •  Candidates must possess a valid Indian nationality document
  • To take the exam, you must be 16 years of age or older
  • Candidates from the general category must hold a 10+2 or equivalent grade point average of at least 50 percent. Reserved groups, including SC, ST, and PC, will receive a cumulative relaxation rate of 10 percent

ICAR PG 2021

  • The minimum aggregate requirements for candidates in the general, OBC and UPS categories are 60% for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, while the minimum aggregate requirement for SC, ST and PC candidates is 50%.
  •  Applicants must be at least 19 years of age (for all categories).
  • To prove their nationality, the individual must possess an official government document.

  • A recent passport size photograph
  • An active email account and mobile number

Step by Step Registration and Application Procedure

Step 1 : Registration form fill up

  • Go to the official website of NTA ICAR (https://icar.nta.ac.in).
  • You will find the link for online registration on the home page, under ‘News & Events.
  • Your session will redirect you to the main registration page, where registered and new candidates will be able to access the online application.
  • For registered candidates, a Users name, Password and Security PIN are required.
  • New users must select AIEEA (UG)-2021/ AIEEA (PG)-2021 from the dropdown menu and then click on the “apply” tab.
  • Once this is done, a new window will open enabling one to download the official brochure and fill out the application form.
  • Tick the check box after reading the instructions
  • Fill in the asked details such as Name, address, Email ID, etc. and click submit once done
  • Recheck the instructions to verify they are correct
  • Continue to the next window and click on the ‘ Complete Application Form’ Tab.

Step 2: Application Form fill up

Fill up all the necessary details 

  • Personal Details -Pre-filled details as you filled them above
  • Apply For – either UG/PG, Subjects in Class 12, Select your preferred exam centres 
  • Academic Details – enter your class 10 and 10+2 or Graduation details such as the name of the Course, Name of University/Board, Year of Passing, Result Mode, Marks Details, Roll Number, and Name of School. 
  • Other Details – Mention any visible mark on your body and your security pin. After the fill up is complete, click ‘submit’ to finish and submit the form.

Step 3: Upload image and documents

 After verifying and submitting the application form, you will be required to upload the below mentioned images and documents:

  • Recent passport size photograph
  • Thumb expression
  • Signature

Step 4:  Application Fee payment

To book a seat for ICAR AIEEA 2021 exam, you must complete this step. Only online payments for application forms are accepted. To make a payment, candidates must click the ‘Proceed for Payment’ button and choose from Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking/UPI Payments and Paytm.

Exam Pattern

Applicants for the AIEEA 2021 entrance examination should thoroughly study the exam pattern so that they are well prepared for the entrance examination, not only to gain an understanding of the entrance examination but to also enhance their preparation.  In accordance with the ICAR AIEEA 2021 pattern, the exam will be computer-based, and candidates will have to attempt questions within a time limit of two and a half hours for UG courses. The duration for PG and Ph.D courses will be 2 hours. During the entrance examination, candidates are informed that a point will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

Marking Scheme of ICAR 2021

ICAR marking scheme is mentioned below for aspiring candidates to prepare accordingly:

  • Admission examinations for UG programs will have a maximum score of 600.
  • The entrance exam for PG courses will have a maximum score of 480 points.
  • The entrance examination will award 4 points per correct answer.
  • Each incorrect response will cost the candidate one mark.
  • The candidate won’t receive a mark for an unresponsive question.
