Such candidates must accept and pay the first installment of the amount due within 15 days of receiving the offer letter. If an applicant fails to pay the money by the deadline, IMI retains the right to withdraw its provisional offer.

In the instance of candidates sponsored by their companies, we would directly notify the latter of the admission offer. Sponsoring businesses must confirm the identities of those employees/associates who will participate in the program in writing within 15 days of receiving the offer.

Our admission decision will be based on the information/details supplied by the applicant in his or her application and during the interview. Both at the time of the personal interview and on the day of enrollment in the program, candidates will be expected to produce authentic papers demonstrating their educational credentials and work experience. If you do not provide documentary documentation, our offer will be revoked. On discovery of his/her malpractice, any applicant who produces fabricated data/documentary proof will be expelled from the program. Furthermore, the fee he/she paid will be forfeited.

Applicants will be summoned for a Personal Interview to assess their eligibility for the Program based on the aforesaid shortlist. Interviews are expected to take place in November/December 2018. A Skype interview may be done for international students.

Where appropriate, an experience certificate, certified copy of GMAT / CAT / XAT scorecard, and Sponsorship letter (if applicable) must be presented at the time of the interview.

Applicants should be aware that just meeting the minimum qualifying requirements or receiving a recommendation from the sponsoring institution does not guarantee that they will be considered for shortlisting or selection by IMI.

Placement

While IMI will give all feasible inputs and assistance to students to help them become industry-ready, it is ultimately up to them to do well both academically and in recruiter selection procedures.

IMI is responsible for providing all feasible and essential inputs and assistance to the students to ensure that they are industry-ready. Similarly, IMI would do everything possible to bring a large number of recruiters to school on a best-efforts basis. Nonetheless, it is ultimately the responsibility of students to do well both academically and in recruiter screening procedures to be placed. Candidates who have been sponsored by their employers are not eligible to participate in the institute’s placement procedure.

To help prospective candidates make an educated decision, we have provided the following placement-related information for the 2018-19 PGDM (Executive) batch:

Curriculum for the EXPGDM

The program would include cutting-edge coursework that takes into account current trends in management theory, practice, and applications. Students would be studying 28 full-credit courses in credit point equivalent terms (of 3 credit points each). In addition, all students must do a field project on their selected topic and submit a report to the institution during the last trimester. The completion of the project within the time frame required for the Post Graduate Diploma in Management is a requirement (Executive).

Pedagogy

Due to the nature of management courses, various faculty members will employ a variety of pedagogical tactics, including case studies/caselets, role plays, group activities, simulation exercises, lectures, MOOCs, participatory learning techniques, and so on. In addition, through events, guest lectures, and workshops/seminars, IMI facilitates many encounters with industry specialists. Additionally, it would allow students to work on ‘live projects’ of various organizations on a best-efforts basis. IMI would also organize seminars to help students improve their grooming, presentation, and communication skills. Overall, the goal is to provide great exposure and learning opportunities for pupils.

Evaluation

Quizzes, case presentations, assignments, surprise exams, project submissions, and term examinations would all be part of the evaluation process. This would imply that children would be required to strain and achieve well academically regularly. For student evaluation, IMI, like other reputable management institutions in India and worldwide, adopts a relative grading system. Grades would be issued in a course using a 10-point scale based on a student’s relative standing to his or her peers rather than the absolute mark obtained.
