There are two ways to get admission in UG Courses in DBS Group:
Early Admission Process:
When registering for class XII and awaiting results, students are evaluated on the basis of their academic performance in class X and XI and their performance during the online interview, provided they meet the qualifying criteria of the university in Class XII. This applies until 15th July, 2021.
Students who apply for an early decision and do not meet the threshold will be considered for regular decision subsequently. After appearing for the interview, candidates will be informed of the early decision within 15 days. Early applicants are therefore at a distinct advantage.
Regular Admission Process (After the declaration of XII result)
UG admissions are based on Academic records and Interviews (offline or online, depending on the case). The number of students opting for the program would determine a merit list, while the number of seats would determine a cutoff. There is no guarantee of a seat in the program for students who do not make it to the merit list, based on their class XII results and interview scores. When a student fails to reserve a seat, the institution reserves the right to offer the seat to the next eligible candidate.

Indemnity bonds should be provided by students stating that they will not leave the course/degree program during the course/degree.
You will receive a formal scholarship offer letter/confirmation once you have officially registered with the DBSG.
You will receive your scholarship in two equal installments or as appropriate.
As long as the result of the previous semester has not been announced by the last date for submitting fees for the next semester, the student may provisionally submit fees equivalent to the last semester fees, but in case of failure to obtain the required marks, the student will have to submit the balance fees.
As of the 3rd semester, the scholarship will be subject to the following conditions:
75% attendance to be maintained in each subject individually in the preceding semester. Please note that Third Semester Scholarship depends on First semester performance and Fourth-semester Scholarship on second semester.
All subjects must be scored at 60%.
Whenever a penalty or fine is imposed by the Proctorial Board, disciplinary action cannot occur against a student.
An annual certificate of good moral character must be obtained from the course coordinator and submitted to the registrar.
If there are any brand ambassador activities and/or events/goodwill programs, the student should promise to be available at all times during the course.
During the study process, there should not be a break. In case of transfer to any other institute, the scholarship given will have to be refunded prior to issue of No Objection Certified.
A thank you letter for the Generous Scholarship must be sent to the Board of Trustees every semester. In case any of the above criteria is not fulfilled the scholarship for the next semester will be withdrawn.

Career Development Cell of DBS is responsible for ensuring not only placements to all students but also grooming students to take on the rigours of the corporate world effectively without any stress. CDC team develops relationships with corporates based on projects, consultancy, internships and placement. CDC team actively engages with faculty to understand the gaps in the curricula and industry requirements and bridges them through active involvement of the corporates around various activities that help the students in developing a deeper understanding of business. Value added courses are designed to cover the curricular gaps and help students upgrade their skills portfolio aligned with industry requirements. Personality grooming starts from day 1 of the start of the session and is an integral part of campus engagement. Students’ development is regularly monitored and the mentors allocated to each student initiates correction the moment they view the gaps in performance and benchmarks. Practice of GD and PI is given regularly. In each course, stress is given on individual presentations on lecture summary, case and business events analysis. CDC team also engages actively with the startups to share the developments in the technology application with faculty so that projects can be designed around these developments and students keep abreast of the rapidly changing business environment. However the scholarship for 2nd semester onwards will be subject to :
75% attendance to be maintained in each subject individually in the preceding semester.
70% marks in cumulative score in all subjects.
Student shall not be involved in any disciplinary action of misconduct where a penalty or fine is imposed by the Proctorial board.
Student shall take a good moral character certificate from the course coordinator every year and submit the same with Registrar.
Student should give an undertaking of being available at all time during the course for any brand ambassador activities and also in case of events/goodwill programme.
There should be no discontinuation in study. In case of transfer to any other institute, the scholarship given will have to be refunded prior to issue of No Objection Certificate.
Student needs to send a thank you letter to Board of Trustees for the Generous Scholarship every semester.
In case the student fails to get 70% marks in the subsequent semester, his scholarship will be equivalent % of cumulative marks scored over 50%. That means a student with 65% marks will get 15% scholarship in subsequent semester in the tuition fees. However a student having been admitted as a merit scholar with first semester regains 70% in semester thereafter, will again be allowed 50% scholarship in subsequent semester subject to other conditions being fulfilled.
In case any of the above criteria is not fulfilled the scholarship for the next semester will be withdraw.
Procedure
Student registering for scholarship should apply on the prescribed form available with the institute or on website at the time of interview before confirmation of admission. Students who do not apply before confirmation of admission will not be eligible for merit scholarship.
Student should submit photo copies of all mark sheets and certificates required as above for entitling the scholarship.
Upon your official confirmation of admission with the DBSG, you will receive a formal scholarship offer letter / confirmation.
The scholarship will be disbursed semester wise.
In case the result of the previous semester has not been declared till the last date of submission of fees for the next semester, the student may provisionally submit fees equivalent to the last semester fees but in case fails to get the required marks will have to submit the balance fees .
Note: 15 percent seats in all programs have been reserved for students applying for scholarships. All scholarships are on First Come First Served Basis. No application for scholarships shall be entertained beyond 30th June. Candidates should preferably send their scholarship applications along-with their admission registration forms.

*All charges are only valid for the fiscal year 2022-23. The Mess Charges are subject to a 5% GST, however the Hostel/Room Rent is not. Each year, prices may be adjusted to reflect current market conditions, tax structures, and inflation. Room rent is payable in accordance with a separate Room/Bed agreement for residential accommodation with the property’s owners.
*Valid until June 15, 2023, or until three days after the exam’s last date, whichever comes first.
*All Hostel Accommodation is valid for 1 day prior to the commencement of the academic year and for 3 days following the end of the academic year/last examinations. During a vacation period of more than 15 days, no student will be permitted to stay at the hostel.
*As a contract for a full year stay, all charges are payable for the entire year. Premature withdrawals are not eligible for a reimbursement.
*Rooms are subject to availability on the day of the first installment’s full payment.
Policy on Refunds
In the event of a withdrawal due to extraordinary circumstances such as rustication, disciplinary issues, medical issues, or any other issue deemed extraordinary by the Hostel Council, the refund will be processed as follows:
For the first five months’ installment:
There are no refunds on the Hostel Admission Fee, Room Rent (Bed), or Medical Insurance.
Variable food expenses of Rs. 3000/- will be repaid for the remaining 5 months.
Contingency/Reserve Fund – balance after charges are deducted (if any).
Installments for the remaining five months are as follows:
The admission fee to the hostel and the medical insurance are non-refundable.
Room Rent (Bed): Prorated refund from second payment charges for months not used in full.
Variable food expenses of Rs. 3000/- will be repaid for the remaining 5 months.
Contingency/Reserve Fund – when charges have been deducted, the balance will be repaid (if any).
The prices shown above are for a 10-month period. Any additional stay due to exam postponement will be charged on a prorated basis based on the kind of accommodation occupied as well as mess fees. Any extension after the last exam, however, will be paid on an annual basis (at the hostel’s option).
